  1. I see today they’re already planning a sequel. Not sure where they would go with it, other than bringing other hunk stars in to tease us and show their asses. I was ultimately left a little disappointed by it, not from the nudity but from the fence it rode. I think it was trying very hard to be edgy like Boogie Nights, and in a few scenes it almost gets there. Ultimately it’s a confusing film that starts off by showing us how cool and fun being a male stripper is, not to mention profitable. Then some kind of moralistic bullshit kicks in and we’re supposed to feel sorry for the gorgeous hunks, because at the end of the day they’re just working hard for the money and trying to better themselves. Ahem. Were we supposed to feel sorry for any of them? All that sun, sex, drugs and rock and roll, not to mention bodies that the camera in no way adds pounds to was just tragic…..But at least Tatum found love with the girl on the outskirts of all of it, who acted like she just wanted to take a nap the entire movie. I guess he was really just longing for a little boring-boring.

  4. You expected to see dick? This is America! Can’t have that here! :-) . Might scare the horses. I’ve stopped being lured in by these commercial ventures. I’ll save my money for a good Gage film. They deliver. :D .

  5. Cody Horn. Her father is the head of Walt Disney Studios and formerly the head of Warners. She and Kristen Stewart could play sisters, and I mean that in the least possible nice way.

  6. I will say it’s the best thing I’ve ever seen McConaughey do, so make of that what you will. His strip toward the end of the film finallly justifies the subject matter. I kept thinking of Buerlesque, and how that was his “You Haven’t Seen The Last Of Me” moment. I saw it with three other friends of mine, we sat on the very back row (which I always do, not because we were hiding, LOL) and the estrogen was thick in the air. Much like the Twilight juggernauts it seemed to be a family affair for the gals. I kept wondering what those men got paid, they have very few lines and no one except for Tatum and the skruffy adorable semi-twink turned asshole got much screen time.

  7. Sorta glad that Bigg’s ‘moment’ was unreleased, sorry to have seen it here. He needs to go back to apple pies.
