Wasn’t Killer Joe, fantastic looking? This is such a contrast to his other Colt photo layout, where he’s dressed up like a biker. Jim French was such a master. It’s a testament to his artistry, how so many of his models became icons. His work is forever. One can’t underestimate his influence. He was doing what “Men At Play” does today, years ago. I’m rather disappointed to learn that you and him, weren’t close. I always imagined that both of you, would have had great conversations together.
GMan–I had two brief phone conversation with Jim French. One was brief and pleasant, the other–which involved my having used one of his men–was less so. I was deeply influenced by his work and venerated his brilliant artistry; he pegged me as one of many upstart wannabe SoCal porn moguls. Never my aim.

Too bad there couldn’t have been a Colt – Gage colaboration back in the hey-days of Colt…not that your appearance as the counselor one of their films recently was a bad thing…u just would have been more …”active” as it were in the 80s …not that u shouldn’t now.
gotta love a COLT Man

See? Now that’s quite literally a Businessman’s Lunch. Or would it be a sack lunch? In any event, its what’s on the menu!
