Did it result in a re-shoot (literally..?) or did you have a lady with a baby waiting in the wings..?! I presume you had a some other kind of back up – or did you have to start afresh from the source tapes/cards? You know, if you ever need some extra storage space, I’d be happy to look after your uncut footage…
Slightly off topic but related to technology. I see AMVC (a distributor that distributes mostly small studios and amateur productions both gay and straight) is dropping all of their discs and going entirely to streaming the end of June. So, it’s finally here.
Lew–The handwriting’s been on the wall for some time now. Discs will still exist, but in the main they will be supplanted by online viewing and downloads. Whether this will affect the quality of the material to be made is still open for debate.

I like the sites that are very clear on what you can download and burn to your very-own-disc. Some even have instructions! What a concept. Haven’t given it a whirl, yet.
Recently seen headlines, “Invisible (see through) T.V.s!” “3-D Printing Will Change the World!” And, it’s always so damned expensive.
