The intergenerational saga begins: Two college students, working summer maintenance jobs for the Department of Highways, drink beer with their supervisor after work in their shared motel room. And we’re off: Dad Takes A Fishing Trip starts shooting. And so do my men. Six times. Everybody’s happy and we move on to the next location. More later.

Flew down to Florida from La Guardia this morning. Temperature in the low 30’s when we embarked, in the mid-70’s when we deplaned. Jackets off, hoodies off. Down to T-shirts in a flash. This feels like the place to be. Went right into production mode, scouting locations that were set up for us to see, picking up an additional camera from a local equipment house, reporting to the studio that will be our base of operations, and checking out the soundstages. The actor playing Dad’s son came in early–he doesn’t get before the cameras for several days. He’s perfect, a beautiful boy-next-door type, and he’s smart–always a plus. A production meeting took up the rest of the afternoon. It looks very promising; don’t want to tempt fate and say more than that. Today begins with Mr. Dragon conducting still photography sessions while I go out to look at additional locations. Principal photography starts this afternoon. More later

“We rarely review compilations, preferring to just stick to the features themselves. But this entry from Ray Dragon and Joe Gage’s new studio D/G Mutual Media is one worth digging deeper into. The footage is from Dragon’s previously released films from his Dragon Media studio – all damned hot.Initially I assumed (from the title, anyway) it was just going to be, well, “cumblast” after “cumblast,” but Dragon smartly includes much of the fucking leading up to the junkdumps. In fact, there’s some super hot stuff here that’ll get you going rather quickly. Dragon is always a great performer, and some of his scenes here are yum-deelish. There’s also jackoff footage from models no longer working, like the beefy bundle of brawn Gauge – looking hot as hell with his wispy goatee, trade-ink, and big ol’ muscles pumping away.

“Plenty of other stars pop up (and just plain old pop), too, including Texas boy Mark Dalton, Latino papis Manuel Torres and Mario Ortiz, big daddy Jake Deckard, and more. The footage ranges from webcam quality to deeply rich crystal clear (Dragon has a great eye) and while the cast is huge, it’s Mr. Dragon himself who really shines here. Can we get a “woof,” people?

“Scenes included are from Dragon’s ongoing web series, and the feature films Big Blue in the Boiler Room, Fresh Hot Pizza Boy, Hookups, Jonny’s Place, Porn Star Training, Working Men, all of the Ray Dragon Presents… titles, and the award-nominated filthfest Whiplash. (Highly recommended.)

“Overall a very good assortment is on display here, and if NYC men, daddies, hair, muscles, sweat, and hard cumshots get your manties in a bunch, you’ll have a blast with this Cumblast.–Mr. Powerbar, TLA Video

Haul it out and let that sperm fly!

Sex-crazed thick-dicked first-timers and hot hunky male adult stars suck, jack and fuck their way to load after load in Volume One of this man-to-man feature-length cumshot compilation.

Received the Slow Heat in a Texas Town check-disk and spent the day screening it and making notes; last chance to fiddle with the details. Ten fixes, all of ’em minor. Among them, switching the order of a couple of the main titles to tighten the narrative, removing an extraneous off-screen line of dialogue, pulling the sound of an annoying crow out of the background in the middle of an outdoor sex scene, tightening a couple of cuts. Yikes! Producer’s reflection (wandering in the distance, lost in thought) spotted in the driver’s side window of a scene in a pickup truck. Glad I caught that one, and glad it was only one shot.

From here the project moves on to the authoring stage and I gather my gear, pack up and get ready to hop a train into town. Flying out tomorrow morning to start production on Dad Takes A Fishing Trip. I feel good about this one–tight script, hot cast. More as I get my footing. I’ll report in when I can.
